SERVICEME NEXT V4.1.2

Release Date: 1/2026 Version: V4.1.2

Update Summary

V4.1.2 is a significant optimization and enhancement version based on V4.1.1. This update focuses on User Experience Innovation, Core Capability Expansion, and System Management Deepening. By introducing a customizable homepage mode, unified AI reading tools, enhanced document security processing chains, and refined permission and configuration management, it comprehensively improves the platform's usability, security, flexibility, and management efficiency, and provides stronger support for developer integration.

Main Update Content

1. User Experience & Interface Optimization

Core Highlights

Provides a more intuitive and personalized operation interface, lowering the entry barrier for new users.

New Features

  • Customizable Homepage (Simple/Traditional Mode Switching): Added "Simple Mode", whose homepage modules and left sidebar support custom configuration. Users can switch between "Simple Mode" and "Traditional Mode" (this version defaults to Traditional Mode, configurable via environment variables).

2. AI Reading & Analysis Capability

Core Highlights

Integrates fragmented functions to provide a powerful unified single-document in-depth understanding tool.

New Features

  • AI Reading Agent: Integrates previously scattered document reading-related functions into the "AI Reading" module, serving as a feature-rich single-document in-depth reading and analysis tool. Capabilities such as document translation, screenshot questioning, etc., will be gradually incorporated in the future.

3. Document Processing & Security Enhancement

Core Highlights

Builds a complete document processing chain from content parsing to security protection.

New Features

  • Document Hyperlink Enhanced Parsing Function: Can use basic mode to parse and render hyperlinks in PDF, Word, Excel, PPT documents. PDF and Excel link positioning may have slight errors; PDF supports processing up to 20 links per page.
  • Added Support for TextIn OCR: In addition to the original Azure Document Intelligence service, newly integrates "Hehe Information TextIn" as an optional OCR recognition engine. For specific capabilities, see: https://www.textin.com/
  • Malicious File Scanning: Developed malicious file scanning function based on Azure Defender, performing security scans on all uploaded files.

4. Operation Audit & Log Management

Core Highlights

Achieves full-process operation traceability for knowledge bases, meeting enterprise-level compliance audit requirements.

New and Optimized Features

  • Knowledge Base Operation Log Expansion: Added operation log records for resources within knowledge base spaces such as Workspace, File, QA, completing the operation audit chain.
  • Operation Log Search Optimization: The search range for operation logs has been increased to 1 year.

5. System Configuration & Management Optimization

Core Highlights

Provides more flexible and user-friendly system resource and content management strategies.

Optimized Features

  • Upper Limit Logic Optimization:
    • Soft Limit: Exceeding the limit (e.g., number of knowledge bases, data sources, skill configurations) may lead to poor performance; the system will display a yellow banner warning but still allow submission and saving.
    • Hard Limit: Exceeding the limit will cause system problems and is strictly prohibited.
    • Assistant Prompt: When reaching 2000 characters, a warning "content too long" will appear, but input will not be blocked.
  • Parameterized Template Name Length Relaxation: Relaxed character length restrictions for parameterized template and reference template names.
  • QA List Added Modifier Field: Added a "Modifier" information field in the QnA list page.

6. Organization & Permission Management

Core Highlights

Empowers department-level autonomous management in large organizations, improving permission allocation flexibility.

Optimized Features

  • Organization Management Permission Optimization: Added user permission management in functional authorization, suitable for large organizations where department managers can assign roles and permissions to employees within their department.

7. Development Integration & Model Ecosystem

Core Highlights

Enhances system security and open integration capabilities, expands model support range.

Updated and Optimized Features

  • User Token Access to Agent API (SSE): In third-party application integration scenarios, added support for using user-level tokens (replacing unified API Keys) to access Agent API (SSE streaming) to achieve precise user request tracing. Simultaneously supports third-party applications actively controlling context management.
  • Fixed Some Penetration Testing Issues: Enhanced and modified cross-site scripting (XSS) protection strategies, fixed several unauthorized access issues and related CVE vulnerabilities.
  • Model Ecosystem Expansion: Expanded support for Claude and Google series models. Current models natively support Chain-of-Thought capability; the platform no longer separately distinguishes "Deep Think" function.
  • iFrame Embedding Optimization: Optimized iFrame embedding method, supports controlling responsive layout by passing the responsive-type parameter via the address bar.
